Need a larger Living Room? a more spacious Kitchen? another bathroom? Kalinka Homes can expand your home and update its functionality. Typical prices start at $175 per square foot of added living space for sizable projects, and timeframes can range from 3 to 6 months depending on size and level of complexity. Often, the remainder of the house is also renovated in conjunction with the Addition. Kalinka Homes essentially “marries” the added space to the existing space in a manner that results in a seamless transition from old to new.

Kalinka Homes will team with the homeowner, architect, and when needed, an interior designer, to analyze the customer’s needs and carefully plan every detail. Since most homeowners will continue to reside in the house during construction, we will make every effort to minimize intrusion and inconvenience. In most cases, the addition can be constructed BEFORE opening the wall to the existing living space. If a new kitchen is part of the plan, kitchen downtime is kept to a minimum by demolishing this space last. When an entire home renovation is included, the project is typically carried out in 2 phases to allow continued use of at least one existing bathroom and bedroom during construction of the new rooms.
